St Teresa's Church, Ashford is looking to recruit a Parish Secretary to assist in the administration of a busy parish. 

The role is to provide comprehensive support to the Parish Priest in all administrative matters within the Parish and will cover secretarial and office management work.   Previous secretarial/ administrative experience is essential. 

The successful candidate will be fully conversant with current office software such as Outlook, Word and Excel and be generally comfortable with IT and office equipment.  You should have excellent telephone skills and a good understanding of the workings of a Roman Catholic Parish. 

Hours of work are flexible but will cover the core hours of the Parish and will be ideally worked from 0900 – 1700  and may include some evening/weekend work. Starting salary £12.21 per hour depending on experience.
