Christmas donation to Community Fridge
The Community Fridge at St George's Cathedral receives a donation of Christmas food
The reception team at Bowen House, where the Archdiocese of Southwark's Central Services work to serve the Archdiocese, organised a large donation to the Community Fridge at St George's Cathedral.
Helene Stewart and Marc Hammond facilitated the donation of Christmas themed food for the Community Fridge, which included mince pies, selection boxes, biscuits and clementines.
Through the Community Fridge, St George’s Cathedral helps the local community cope with the cost-of-living crisis, while at the same time as preventing tonnes of good food going to waste with the Friday breakfast club and Community Fridge, run in partnership with the Oasis Community.
