Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion play an important role in parish life, by helping the parish community through distributing the Eucharist. While this may often be during the Mass, the role may also include taking Holy Communion to people in the wider parish community who are housebound due to health, age or disability.
The Archdiocese of Southwark congratulates all those who were commissioned.
The next commissioning day for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will be at Metropolitan Cathedral Church of St George, Southwark, Saturday 31 January 2026 at 10am.
