Bishop Paul led Southwark pilgrims to Lourdes from Friday, 24th August until Friday, 31st August 2007. Our diocese joins the Catholic Association Pilgrimage each year together with the dioceses of Clifton, East Anglia, Northampton and Portsmouth and Stonyhurst College.
The Catholic Association has been organising pilgrimages to Lourdes for over a hundred years; about a thousand joined this year's pilgrimage.
2008 is the 150th Anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady to Saint Bernadette at the Lourdes Grotto.
