PACT Roadshow: 'I was in Prison'
The Prison Advice Care Trust will be hosting a Roadshow at Amigo Hall (SE1) on Saturday 11th June between 10 am - 4 pm.
Archbishop Wilson (Pact's Vice President) will open the event at which local PACT services staff will come together with diocesan prison chaplains, the Welcome Directory, PACT's CEO Andy Keen-Downs and the charity's Faith in Action team.
Participants will hear voices of lived experience, reflect on Catholic Social Teaching, and share simple ideas as to how parishes and individuals can support people in our communities affected by the criminal justice system. Individuals and small groups from parishes, ideally with their parish priest, are warmly invited.
PACT does a great deal of work within the Archdiocese of Southwark, supporting prisoners and their families and the team looks forward to meeting people on the day. The Archdiocese of Southwark is pleased to give the charity its support and encourage as many people as possible to attend.
