Ooberfuse Performances for Refugee Week 2024

As part of celebrations to mark Refugee Week in the Archdiocese of Southwark, the refugee band, Ooberfuse will give two performances in Kent.

Ooberfuse is a critically acclaimed band based in Woolwich, organised by songwriters Hal St John and Cherrie Anderson. The band has performed globally and includes refugees from Syria, Ukraine and Iraq.

Ooberfuse - Our Home - Performances for Refugee Week 2024

As part of Refugee Week 2024, the band will perform on 22nd June, as part of 'Our Home' in Deal, featuring several artists from around the globe, and in Dover by the 
Memorial Plaques later that afternoon,

Performances will take place at the following times:

  • 10 am: Deal Pier entrance
  • 2 pm: Dover Memorial Plaques (Marine Parade, close to Ferry Terminal entrance, CT16)
