On Saturday 25th November Trudy Kilcullen, the former Chair of the Southwark Spirituality Commission, was honoured to receive the Diocesan Medal during a service in her parish of Holy Apostles, Swanley. The Medal is awarded by Archbishop Wilson for exceptional service, most often, but not always, to those who have contributed to and enhanced the life of the Archdiocese of Southwark in a voluntary capacity.

About 200+ people from all over the diocese gathered on Saturday 4th November to participate in the annual day of renewal organised by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal team at St George’s Cathedral. The Theme was “Come Back to Me With All Your Heart” and the emphasis was on reconciliation and inner healing.

On 28th October 2023, a seminar for promoting racial and cultural inclusion in our schools, parishes and wider Catholic community was successfully held at Amigo Hall, next to St George's Cathedral in London. Led by Canon Victor Darlington, Episcopal Vicar for the Southwark Commission for Racial and Cultural Inclusion, the day featured a number of speakers who focussed on different aspects relating to racism, ranging from rooting out systemic problems in parishes, incorporating how we express and share our faith, perceive ourselves and talk to others.
