Ordination of Deacon Mark Wharton to the Priesthood
Many parishioners will know Deacon Mark Wharton, who assisted at some of the Cathedral liturgies earlier in the year. He has also spent time serving at English Martyrs Church in Streatham, and more recently Sacred Heart RC Church in Camberwell.
The Diocese is delighted to announce his ordination to the priesthood will take place on Saturday 1st October at 11.30 am at St George’s Cathedral and all are welcome to join him in person or via the Cathedral live-stream (see below).
