Racial Justice Sunday Mass 2024
Racial Justice Sunday is the day the Church focuses on the need to oppose racism and pursue racial justice with renewed vigour.
The theme this year is ‘Seeing one another in the life of the Church’.
At the recent seminar on Promoting Racial and Cultural Inclusion, participants recognised one another as children of God regardless of race. This year’s Racial Justice Mass theme was identified to address this again, with a slightly different angle: recognising the saints of every race and culture who have revealed Christ to us.
All are most welcome to join the Racial and Cultural Inclusion Commission for 10 am Mass on Sunday 28th January 2024, when Archbishop John Wilson will be presiding, along with Canon Victor Darlington, Episcopal Vicar for Racial and Cultural Inclusion.
Please join those gathered for light refreshments in Amigo Hall after Mass.
