I just love Jesus: people share their journey to Christ

Hear the beautiful testimonies of people joining the Church this year

The Catholic Church in South London and Kent continues to grow, with over 450 adults due to be received into the Church this Easter.

At a full St George’s Cathedral, the joy and love of Christ shone through. The Archdiocese spoke to several people about their journey to faith.

Etianete, from St Bede’s in Clapham, spoke about how the Church Father’s – and the sacrament of the Eucharist – brought her to the Catholic Church and a deeper love of the Lord Jesus.

Samantha, a mother of seven, explained how she is joining the Catholic Church after her youngest child had a profound sense of faith in the Lord Jesus from a young age.

Vedina-Rose summed her reason up perfectly, stating “I just love Jesus”.

Pamela is a teacher in a Catholic school and this has led to her joining the Catholic Church this year.

"The Lord Jesus says to you, rise in my life”, Archbishop John said as he encouraged us to let our hearts “rise at this call of Christ”.

It is wonderful to see so many people opening their hearts to the Lord Jesus in our Archdiocese. Please keep them in your prayers.
