Join Bishop Paul and the Kairos Forum on a Jubilee 2025 pilgrimage for people with disabilities

A pilgrimage to Rome for people with disabilities has been organised for Jubilee 2025. The pilgrimage to Rome takes place on 26 April 2025 to 1 May.

Bishop Paul Hendricks will be celebrating Mass each day of the pilgrimage. Activities include visiting the Holy Door, with the option of the sacrament of reconciliation as well as a meeting with the Holy Father at St Peter's Square.

You will also participate in the official Jubilee events for People with Disabilities on 28th and 29th.

The pilgrimage has been organised by the Kairos Centre. They advise that all rooms in the accommodation have walk-in showers and are step-free, but the hotel also has 11 fully accessible rooms, and every effort will be made to fulfil all requests.

Cost:

  • Hotel costs, including all meals (breakfast, lunch and supper) except lunch on the 28th and 29th, and pilgrimage programme is
    • Single: £530 per person
    • Double/triple rooms: £490 per person

Transport

  • The cost includes coach transport to events, plus picnic in the Castel Sant’Angelo park on 29th
  • Flights must be booked separately and are not included in the price. 
  • The cost includes a transfer to and from Fiumicino airport. The time of transfers will be in late morning and the late afternoon, so as to allow you to find a reasonable flight.
