Saints Treasure Trail for young people at Aylesford

Join us on the 7 June at Aylesford for a day of fun and faith for all the family

As the Archdiocese prepares to gather for a Jubilee Celebration Day in Aylesford Priory on the 7 June, more details of one of the exciting activities for children and young people has been released.

To help children and young people connect with Saints with significance to the Archdiocese, an interactive Saints Treasure Traill will take place. The young people will be able to speak to the Saints, who will be walking in the grounds, to discover more about their lives.

A map will be made available on the day, so families can take part in the trail at their leisure.

There are lots of other activities for all ages planned, including a children’s rosary, veneration of relics, a Carlo Acutis exhibition and an Archdiocesan history wall.

Mass with Archbishop John is at 3pm and the sacrament of reconciliation is available throughout the day. Eucharistic adoration will take place from 10.30am to 1.45pm in the Choir Chapel.

There is also Children and Youth Ministry on the day. KS1 (Year 1 and Year 2, Age 5-7) and KS2 (Years 3-6, Age 7-11) will be run by Sion Community with two separate groups. KS3-KS4 (Years 7-11, Age 11-16) will be run by the Archdiocese of Southwark Youth Ministry Team with one group. Registration is required to participate in this activity.
