Southwark at Flame 2025

Young people from across the Archdiocese joined Flame 2025, led by Archbishop John Wilson
Around 600 people gathered as part of the Southwark Central party, alongside another 600 young people from other Southwark, making us the second-largest contingent in the arena.
The day was filled with uplifting music, powerful theatre performances, and inspiring talks from speakers such as Fr. Chris Pattinson. The highlight of the event was the Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction, led by Cardinal Vincent Nichols, whose words and witness encouraged us and brought us closer to the Lord Jesus.
This was truly a memorable day for our young people to grow in their faith and to be reminded that they are never alone on their journey to Christ.
